Who We Are
Kalighat Shakti Peeth Seva Samiti is a service-oriented, non-commercial social organisation dedicated to serving society through seva (service), sahyog (support), and suchna (information). Our work is focused on helping needy individuals, supporting devotees, and assisting tourists in and around Kolkata and West Bengal.
We are not a temple trust and do not operate or manage any temple. Our organisation operates independently as a social and informational support system, guided by honesty, transparency, and compassion.

“सेवा ही परमो धर्मः, नर सेवा ही नारायण सेवा” का अर्थ है कि मनुष्य की सेवा करना ही ईश्वर की सच्ची पूजा है। हम मानते हैं कि भगवान मंदिरों में ही नहीं, बल्कि ज़रूरतमंदों के जीवन में निवास करते हैं।
यह विचार भारतीय संस्कृति की आत्मा है, जिसे स्वामी विवेकानंद जैसे महान विचारकों ने अपनाया और समाज को निःस्वार्थ सेवा का मार्ग दिखाया।
